Regional Chapter News
Chicagoland Regional Chapter
The Chicagoland Regional Chapter elections are final. Congratulations to the 2025 Board members: Gerard Wodka, President; John Parnizke, VP/Secretary; and, At-Large Board Members Jason Langston, Patrick Siemsen, and Steve Witnik.
The Chicagoland chapter is now nearly 90 members strong! Join in on the excitement: download your membership form and submit it to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu.
Central Illinois Regional Chapter
The first organizational meeting of the Central Illinois Regional Chapter was at 10:00am on November 8 via Teams. If you live / work in Illinois outside of the Chicago and St. Louis metro areas, this may be the chapter for you! Depending on geographic response, a Northern Illinois chapter may also be added at a later date. Be sure to note Illinois Central on your membership application!
Arkansas / Oklahoma Regional Chapter
The Arkansas / Oklahoma Regional Chapter met on Nov. 15 and a second meeting will be planned for after the holiday season. Become a member today! download your membership form and submit it to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu.
Southeast (previously Georgia) Regional Chapter
The Dec. 11 organizational meeting of the Southeast Regional Chapter (formerly Georgia) has been delayed until February. Please watch your email for a schedule poll. The Southeast Regional Chapter includes fellow course graduates who live and / or work in Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina.
Kansas City Chapter
The Kansas City Chapter has begun organization and is open for membership and for volunteers to help develop their chapter! If you work or reside in the Kansas City metro area, Nebraska, Kansas, or Iowa and would like to help launch this chapter, please submit your membership form to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu and indicate your interest in a chapter founder's role in your email.
Greater New York Metropolitan Regional Chapter
The Greater New York Metropolitan Regional Chapter is open for membership and for volunteers to help develop this chapter! If you would like to help launch this chapter, please submit your membership form to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu. If interested, please indicate your interest in a role in your email.
Pennsylvania & Southern New Jersey
The Pennsylvania & Southern New Jersey Chapter will have 2025 Board elections on February 11 - 12 via SurveyMonkey. Members should watch their email for their ballot, arriving in their in-box at 12:00am, February 11. This chapter is growing daily! St. Louis Chapter
Congratulations to St. Louis Chapter's first board: Chapter President Paul Anderson, Chief, St. John (MO) Police Department; Chapter Vice-President / Secretary Jeff Swatek, Lieutenant, Maryland Heights Police Department; Branden Anderson, Social Media Chair, Sergeant, Wentzville Police Department; Clifford House, Communications Sgt., Maryland Heights Police Department; and, NUCPS Course Liaison Sean Conners, Captain, Kirkwood Police Department.
The chapter is holding a Meet & Greet at Syberg's in Maryland Heights on Sunday, January 26, to welcome SPSC Class #603. Please submit your membership form to nucps-alumni@northwestern.edu to receive more information on this event!
Wisconsin Regional Chapter

We welcome graduates of any and all NUCPS courses to Regional Chapters! Whether you successfully completed the School of Police Staff & Command, other Management & Leadership programs, a Crash & Reconstruction course, Traffic Engineering, Forensic courses, or the NUCPS Police Motorcycle Instructor Program, then you are eligible to join a chapter. We welcome retirees and those employed in the private sector in addition to sworn officers.

Regional Chapters support the mission of NUCPS by "contributing to the advancement of a secure society by providing current knowledge, skills and connections for public safety professionals to achieve their personal and professional potential."

How Do I Help Start a Chapter?
For nearly 90 years, we’ve had the privilege of impacting careers, agencies, and communities through some of the highest quality educational programming available for public safety professionals. Our relevance, effectiveness, continuity, and growth can be greatly attributed to your enthusiastic response, word-of-mouth promotion, and valuable feedback. We are excited to be now working directly with many of you to develop this new NUCPS chapter in areas throughout the U.S.
